Legend of Perm Bear

Perm is one of the transport hubs in western Russia, a main gateway to Serbia. A 2-hour flight from Moscow. The Khokhlova is another highlight. The open-air museum showcases the ethnic uniqueness of Kama region. You can visit the cabin of the hunters, with various vehicles in the North; while the remarkable bell tower is located in the highest point of the South. When you visit Perm, BEAR in mind the folktale “Masha and the Bear”. Masha got lost in the forest when hunting for mushrooms and berries, and was thus captured by the bear. Though she was forced to live with it, she trapped it to carry her back to her village in a basket of pies. Since 2009, this story has transformed into a globally popular animated series with these 2 characters.
